My name is Maggie. I wrote this... but I am going to switch to third person to sound cool.
Maggie recently graduated from Rose Bruford College with an MFA in International Theatre. She is a playwright, an actor, and comedienne.
She grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where she also completed her first marathon! She graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Theater and English. She spent a semester studying at The British American Drama Academy and for her senior thesis Maggie wrote a two-woman clowning adaptation of Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors”. She and her writing partner took 15 Villainous Fools on a cross-country fringe tour receiving rave reviews and landing a three month run at The People’s Improv Theater in NYC.
After graduating Maggie was the Education Intern at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island. While in Rhode Island Maggie was on a Providence Improv Guild House Team and tried “party pizza”.
Maggie moved to NYC and began working as an associate special ed teacher on the upper west side. She graduated from UCB and was accepted as an Academy Member. Maggie has also studied improv at Second City and performed with numerous indie teams like, Carmen San Francisco. Maggie has been teaching special ed and running after school drama classes since 2017. After a great run with “15 Villainous Fools” Maggie co-wrote an original musical, “Dickie in the House” that also premiered at The PIT.
Now for some fun facts punctuated by beautiful photography.
