I am interested in building community through laughter. My writing hits upon themes of friendship and loneliness, womanhood, and truth through the lens of comedy. My stories have unconventional characters and goofy pop culture references. My background is in clowning, improv, and teaching, so my writing leads with the curious and joyful heart of a child.

TV Writing

  • Lodestar

    Contact for script and pitch.

Lodestar follows three janitors tasked with cleaning up Earth’s building, who take it upon themselves to start granting Earth’s wishes once more. Were they tricked into doing this by Keith, the creepy permanent janitor who’s sole dream is to start a war between Lodestar and Earth? Maybe! But there is no time to discuss the whys! All that matters is the, “WHAT DO WE DO NOW?” This show follows these three incompetent janitor aliens, as they jump their way across Earth’s history, granting wishes. Will they grant the wish, save the day, and stop an imminent alien invasion? Let’s be honest, probably not, but they sure will try!

  • Assisted

    Contact for script and pitch.

Assisted is the story of Nikita, the determinedly positive programming director at Milford Assisted Living Facility. The show follows Nikita’s dream to make Milford the go-to choice for Assisted Living while working with an eclectic staff and eccentric residents.

This show is about a job you don’t get paid enough to do and the people you work your ass off for anyways. It is about losing independence, friends, and partners but finding the adventures, community, and moments that keep you going. It is about the grandmothers who make the best chocolate pies, and ones you forgot to call.

  • Pirate Pilot Coming Soon

When 17th century pirates, Jim and Bea, land in modern-day Key West they team up with the police to catch bad guys. Is it against Pirate code? Probably. Will it help them break their curse and get back to 1654? Probably not. But is it the only job they are even remotely capable of doing? Yes. Yes it is.

Playwriting

  • 15 Villainous Fools

These two ladies bring pandemonium and a tornado of unstoppable energy to the Bard's comedy. It’s wacky. It’s wild. It’s somewhat understandable. It’s old-school Billy Shakespeare and two fast-talking women stirring up trouble on the stage. Clothes are tossed, hearts are broken, twins are lost.

  • The Moon is Cheese

This play is an epic clowning adventure that focuses on two outcasts who discover that the moon is made of cheese . They are visited by a handful of well-known space-goers to help them make the biggest decision of their lives, tell the world or keep the cheese-y truth to themselves? This endearing story tackles the role of truth in society and the power of genuine friendship.

  • Dickie in the House

The possibly true, entirely fabricated, probably wrong story of Watergate as told by two girls who don’t know what happened. This wacky play attempts to retell the story of this Great American Scandal. Armed with their joint ignorance, original musical numbers, and plenty of costume changes, these ladies are here to educate you, sort of.
